Sorry for the lack of posting. This post is going to be fairly long because it'll cover the rest of orientation week and the first week or so of classes. Also, here's another picture of the flowers that bloom outside our apartment. (Also, for reference, the Tuesday I start with is February 25th)

Tuesday was going to be a scavenger hunt, but Paige, Avari, and I chose to look around campus ourselves instead. We took a tour of one of the libraries on campus which is the Auchmuty Library and has become my go to place for time between classes. On the left is a map of campus (it's pretty huge). Wednesday was just orientation workshops not much happened then either.
I don't know if I've mentioned this yet, but I have to take a 15 minute train ride to get to campus. On the above right and below is some views from the station.
Thursday was a bus trip to Charlestown Square, an over 170 store mall about 20 minutes bus ride south of campus. In one of the sports stores, we found NFL footballs, which a took a picture of. I only bought a couple things which was some frozen yogurt from Crave (so I don't miss Berry-Yo so much) and a purse since I only brought my big one with me and needed a different one.
Friday was the dolphin cruse, and that was a miserable mess. It was pouring the entire time we were on the boat. We did see dolphins for about 15 seconds, but they were barely above the water and there was no chance of getting a good picture. Below are some pictures from on the boat.
After we got off we went to eat by the harbor (I had Subway. It was about the same.) It finally stopped raining after 30-45 minutes, so we could wander around and shop a bit. I got a few pictures of the boats and a few souvenirs.
The weekend passed by quickly and I started classes March 3rd. All are seem to be pretty typical classes, but all of the lectures are in large lecture halls which is different for me. I didn't have class yet last Wednesday (My Wednesday classes are labs which don't start until week 3 for that class) so I spent a lot of time on the beach that day.

Thursday I had a large gap between classes so I went to this courtyard which is in the middle of one of the main buildings. They had a live band playing, which I don't know if that's typical there or not. I also this past Monday night (3/10) sat out here to watch a movie at dusk (Finding Nemo, one of my favorites).

On Saturday the 8th, I went to my first professional game of any sport. It was a soccer match between the Newcastle Jets and the Melbourne Hearts. The Jets were ranked 3rd to last in the league and the Hearts were under them, so it wasn't exactly the best of the best, but it was awesome to watch and I'd love to go to another.

That's about what's been happening since I wrote last. I've been having lots of fun and staying warm (though I hear there's a bit of a "heat wave" back home. Some above freezing temperatures. Woo.) Here's Cole with some of the souvenirs I picked up at the harbor.
